PL71-Innovative ethanol production microline/MICROLINE

Creation of an innovative ethanol production microline enabling the use of agricultural products and the transfer of legal, economic and technological knowledge directed at farm operators

Description

Innovative ethanol production microline

Sector

A1.1Growing of non-perennial crops

Needs/ Problem statement

On the commercial market in Poland and Europe there is currently no complete ethyl alcohol production line aimed at individual customers producing small quantities of ethyl alcohol using any agricultural raw material or from commercially unsuitable agricultural residues of selected raw materials (from which, of course, a product can realistically be obtained). The aim of the operation is to remove the defined barriers that prevent micro ethanol plants from opening in rural areas, expanding or re-branding farms to produce ethanol from agricultural products and non-commercial agricultural residues.

Objective

to adapt the technology to a much smaller scale. To a scale achievable on farms of 1 - 20 ha. There is no description of micro-scale ethanol production using automated micro-lines. The transfer of knowledge related to mashing, fermentation, distillation and rectification assumed in the project will make it possible to obtain high-quality ethyl alcohol from various raw materials, not only starchy but also non-starchy. In addition, there will be a transfer of currently unavailable legal and economic knowledge related to the production of ethyl alcohol by means of microlines.
